There are times when drawing attention to some of the data bars on a bar chart can enhance your chart significantly. However Excel only allows you to have one style and colour for each data series and this makes highlighting certain data values difficult.
This presentation will show you how to get around this problem and allow you to produce bar charts with the colour of the bar themed according to the value of the X or Y axis. The example shows how data within a single month can be themed to show values from the weekend a different colour than the data for the weekdays.
The techniques learnt in this tutorial can easily be applied to theming of data based on any other parameter.
