This tutorial describes the 3 common ways to display the average of a data set. It is important to understand when you are presenting an average whether you are looking at the most common value, the middle value or the average of all the values.
This presentation shows the difference between the Mode, Median and Average commands and how they relate to the percentile and Quartile commands.
Once you fully understand these methods you can make your figures look much better when presenting to the boss!
