Dear
Fellow Excel User,
If you find yourself thinking “I am sure there must be a quicker
way!” or “I wish I could
do that” when using Microsoft Excel then reading this letter may be the most productive 3 minutes of your week!
You are in good company! There
are so
many features in Excel that the majority of users only ever scratch the
surface
of what the program is capable of – in fact during
Microsoft’s research for
Excel 2007, 70% of all new feature requests from existing users were
already in
Excel 2003!
With
amazing statistics like that it is easy to see why, if you can master
just a handful of Excel's features, you could quickly become the office
guru, save yourself hours each month or even get a payrise from your boss!.
The biggest surprise is still to come - Did you know you can get free information on EVERY feature in Excel on the internet?
Keep reading ... I will show you how to find this information very quickly - in fact you could start to learn new Excel techniques in the next 20 minutes and within an hour have mastered techniques that will start to save you time and get your Excel knowledge acknowledged at work ...
Let me ask you a simple question?
Have
you ever looked around a new city or country without a local guide book
– just hoping to bumb into what interests you? On the rare occassion you will be lucky - but the majority of times you will miss the best bits and waste a lot of time!
Think of the Internet as the biggest city or country you will ever visit - Don't you wish you did not have to waste so much of your time searching around the internet trying to bumb into information or help for Excel?
The Time Saving Links Index for
Excel is your local guide to where to find the best Excel pages on the
web. Not just the
website names but the
actually pages themselves. Each
of the 1600 links is categorized into one of 30 sections so you can find what you are
looking for quickly.
"Hi. I
find Excel exciting and wanted to learn
more than my colleagues at work so that I could be seen as an
"expert" - at least an Expert in our Dept.
We use Excel daily, but not to
its full potential. I just love it. Its just a problem getting time to
find out
how to do extra things. I tried to find a course at one of our local
colleges
to improve my Excel skills but couldn't find one - then I saw your
book.
It was easy to access and has
highlighted new techniques I can use as a Business Analyst - ie Gant
charts
etc. Fabulous. Thanks for the index."

What can the
directory
offer that Google can’t?
The
answer
is simple. Google
is great, but it will
only answer the question you ask it.
Try
typing “show me something new that could save me time next
time I have to
compile a report in Excel” and see how you get on.
There
is so much that Excel can do that you may not be aware of and I would be the first to say how much Google has changed the way we look for answers it still cannot read your mind (but knowing Google they are probably working on that one).
What would you do with an extra week a year?
How
much time do you think you could save each week
if you bought a copy of the Index today and found new
techniques that taught you how to work quicker in Excel?
5
hours? 2 hours?
Imagine
being able to save just 1 hour a week – that’s 52
hours a year –over one
working week a year.
See
how quickly it can build up – imagine how much more could you do
with another week a year!

This may sound like a tall
order but I will guarantee
that by using the resources in the Time Saving Links you will be able to find
and learn techniques that will save you an hour a week OR I will give you your
money back.
….
Yes you read that right - If the index does not start to save you an hour a week within the first 60 days I will give you your money back - no questions asked!

What
a fantastic idea!! just what I needed,
easy access to specific topics
As
an IT teacher/trainer I probably have a
lot of the website links in my Favourites but when I'm looking for info
on
features I usually have to Spend a lot of time going through each of
the
websites to see if they contain anything on the subject I'm researching. Now I have an index, how
brilliant is that.
I've
only looked at a couple of your videos
and they're great as well. There are times when I need refreshing on
certain
features, mainly because I don't use them very often, and sitting back
and
watching your videos is ideal, instead of working through books I can
be
entertained. The videos are really well produced both in content and
delivery,
you make it seem easy and possible for anyone to do, very professional.
Thanks
again for the time you've saved me
